Prior to joining Open Energy Corporation, David Saltman was President & CEO of BioComposites International, a privately held company developing natural fiber reinforced plastics for the automotive, building materials, and consumer products industries. Before BioComposites, he helped develop the first MDF plant to produce fiberboard from 100% recycled urban wood, and the first bio-composites facility in North American, with customers that eventually included Ford, GM, DaimlerChrysler, and Saturn. Mr. Saltman is an energetic proponent of sustainable technologies. He participated in the President's advisory council that created federal environmental purchasing guidelines, and is the recipient of awards from the American Marketing Association and the National Recycling Coalition. He is a native Californian and graduate of the UCLA Film School.

Douglas Ward
Compensation Chairperson
E. Douglas is a Managing Director of Irvine Associates, a privately held corporate finance group. Over the past few years, he has arranged various credit facilities and restructurings for a broad spectrum of technology companies. Previously he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Astrotech International Corporation, which had three operating companies and a start-up commercial space venture. Mr. Ward has a broad base in management and turnaround experience. He was Vice President and General Manager, Executive Vice President, and President of five diverse commercial and aerospace companies, including Aerojet Nuclear Systems, Aerojet Surface Effects Ships, Graver Tank & Manufacturing, Johnston Pump and General Valve. He has served on many boards of private and public companies and banks.

J. Kemper
Audit Committee Chairperson
Steven J. Kemper is a certified public accountant, holds a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount, and has over 25 years of financial management experience in the health care, high tech and consumer electronics industries. He is the former Chief Financial Officer of DexCom, a medical technology leader in continuous glucose monitoring, and of CryoGen, which was sold to American Medical Systems. Prior to this, Mr. Kemper was the CFO of General Instrument's Satellite communications Group (now a division of Motorola). He is a UCLA/ISS certified board member, and a NASDAQ and SEC/SOX qualified expert.

Kenneth F. Potashner
Nominating and Governance Chairperson
Kenneth F. Potashner is an electrical engineer, entrepreneur and senior corporate executive. He is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SonicBlue, a leading provider of digital media solutions. He grew the revenues of this company from zero to $300 million in less than three years. Prior to this, Mr. Potashner was Chairman and CEO of Maxwell Technologies, where he led the transition from a defense contractor to a commercially oriented electronics company. From 1981 through 1991, he worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, eventually serving as Vice President of Worldwide Product Engineering.

Prior to joining Open Energy Corporation, Mr. Field was a senior executive at Clark Security Products, the largest independent vertically integrated security distribution company in North America. Previously, he founded and managed several companies in the energy sector. Most recently, Mr. Field founded and was CEO of Clarus Energy Partners, a leading Distributed Generation developer, owner and operator that was acquired by Hunt Power in early 2004. Prior to Clarus Energy, Mr. Field co-founded Omaha-based Kiewit Fuels, a renewable energy company specializing in the development of biofuels production. In addition to a career in sustainable energy development, he also has an extensive background in water technology and infrastructure development, with companies such as; Bechtel, Peter Kiewit, and Poseidon Resources, as well as, in corporate finance with Citicorp. Mr. Field holds a MBA from the Garvin School of International Management (Thunderbird).

Shields
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to Open Energy, Mr. Shields was Chief Financial Officer of Satellite Security Corporation, a start-up micro-cap company in the Wireless GPS technology space. Previously, he spent 11 years with Gap Inc in several roles including Chief Financial Officer of the Outlet Division and Senior Director and Controller of the Old Navy Division. During his time in Old Navy, the division grew from a start up to the fastest growing retailer in US history and Mr. Shields spent time in a multitude of roles supporting Real Estate, Financial Planning, Business development, Marketing Effectiveness, Supply Chain, Operations and SEC reporting. Before Gap Inc, Mr. Shields worked for Minerals Technologies Inc. in Cork, Ireland and Europe. Mr. Shields is a native of the Republic of Ireland and is a graduate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He received his training as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Ireland.

Executive Vice President
World Wide Operations
Prior to joining Open Energy Corporation, Mr. Gopal held senior executive positions at major product and services companies. These have included Vice President in World-Wide Operations at Dell Computer and Director of Global Supply Chain Services at Ernst & Young Consulting. From Nov 2006 to Oct 2007, he was a Director at Deloitte Consulting, served as an independent consultant to electronics manufacturing firms from September 2005 to November 2006, and was the VP of Commercial Supply Chain at SAIC from June 2003 to August 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Gopal was the VP of Global Supply Chain Services at Unisys from Nov 2001. He has worked for, and consulted to, many of the leading global companies in the technology and consumer product industries, where he has helped develop supply chain and information strategy, source products, and execute for world-class results. In addition to his corporate experience, Mr. Gopal has been involved in small and startup companies in the technology and telecommunications industries, the most recent of which was Telseon, a next-generation telecommunication company. Mr. Gopal is recognized as a thought leader in the industry, has been an invited speaker and panel member at leading supply chain and information technology forums, and has co-authored three books on the subject. Mr. Gopal holds a PhD from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, UK.

Sprinkle
General Counsel and Senior Vice President
Mr. Sprinkle is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of Integrated Dental Solutions, Inc., an international dental services company headquartered in San Diego. Prior to joining Integrated Dental Solutions, Mr. Sprinkle was special counsel to Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, where he counseled public and private companies on a wide range of business and legal issues. Mr. Sprinkle brings with him years of experience assisting companies in structuring and executing complex financing and merger and acquisition transactions, as well as providing day-to-day counseling on the myriad issues facing companies in all stages of the corporate life cycle-from start-ups seeking seed or venture capital financing to mature operating companies in connection with public offerings and going-private transactions. Mr. Sprinkle has developed particular expertise in counseling public companies on securities and corporate governance issues. Mr. Sprinkle earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as editor-in-chief of The Tax Lawyer, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.

Trepeck
Vice President of Channel Sales
David H. Trepeck comes to Open Energy with almost twenty years of business development experience, both in the commercial and residential markets. He has an extensive background in the construction industry, where he was a developer/general contractor for over fifteen years on a wide variety of complex construction projects for his own developments as well as those of his clients. Throughout his career, Mr. Trepeck has developed a number of highly successful businesses which include cinemas, ice skating facilities and custom flat panel video distribution companies. Prior to beginning with Open Energy, David founded Uptown Theatres, which became the highest grossing theatre chain per seat in the country. In addition to his theatre developments, David was a pioneer in the e-commerce business, where he was a leader in the sale and distribution of flat panel television systems via the internet. He is University of Michigan graduate where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics.

Alan Whiting
Vice President of Solar Communities
Mr. Whiting brings over twenty years of financial management experience to Open Energy. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Whiting served as a financial advisor to several start-up companies in the technology and energy sectors. Previously, he was Vice President of Finance with Clarus Energy Partners, a leading developer, owner and operator of distributed generation projects in California, where he focused on project development, structuring and finance. Prior to Clarus Energy, Mr. Whiting co-founded and served as Chief Financial Officer of a logistics management firm, a business travel application service provider, and Omaha-based Kiewit Fuels, a biofuels technology and development company. He also served in various commercial banking, real estate finance and workout positions as Corporate Vice President with Citicorp. Mr. Whiting holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin.

Cheryl
J. Bostater
Vice President of Financial Planning
Cheryl J. Bostater brings Open Energy Corporation a strategic outlook combined with an engineering degree, financial certification, and practical business experience. She spent several years working for broker/dealers, filing micro-cap public offerings with the SEC, and as an equity analyst issuing buy/sell recommendations on hi-tech and telecommunications stocks. For over 10 years, Cheryl has evaluated businesses and partnerships, corporate and partnership buy-outs, financial reporting, stock-based compensation plans, mergers, acquisitions, and private placements. She holds an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in Business Valuation from the American Society of Appraisers, and has been awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst designation by the CFA Institute. She earned her MBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

International Business Development
Prior to his position as head of sales for Open Energy, Howard Gomes had an extensive background in the high tech industry including 25 years in sales, executive sales management, and senior management. He has led national and international sales organizations at Sperry Univac, Altos Computer Systems, and SPC. In his most recent corporate role, Howard spent seven years as Canadian Regional Vice President of Sales for Compaq Computer. Howard brings an exceptional level of sophistication in areas of product marketing and advertising, the development of distribution networks, and the management of international sales forces. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario.

Melvin L. Prueitt
Senior Scientific Advisor, SunCone™ CSP Inventor
Dr. Prueitt has received considerable worldwide attention for his development and patents on convection towers for smog reduction and power production. International Express (September 19, 2000) selected his convection tower as one of the Top 100 Inventions of the 20th Century. For over 30 years, Dr. Prueitt's career as a theoretical physicist at the Los Alamos National Laboratory was spent working on national defense initiatives. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Brigham Young University, 1960; Master of Science in Physics, University of Arizona, 1962 and a Ph.D. in Physics, University of New Mexico, 1970.
Currently, he holds eighteen patents in the fields of renewable energy, desalination, magnetic energy storage, and consumer products. He is also a recognized pioneer in the field of computer graphics with numerous publications of his work in a variety of media. Dr.
Heshmat Laaly
Senior Scientific Advisor
Dr. Laaly is an analytical chemist, internationally recognized as an expert in the technical areas of plastics, rubbers, roofing, and waterproofing materials, with a solid background in the fields of construction materials testing and instrumental analysis. His education includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. His professional focus has been on the development and evaluation of ion exchange resins and the measurement of chemical, physical, and mechanical properties of materials, before and after natural aging and accelerated weathering, and the preparation of standards and codes of practice for roofing materials.
In July 1983, he received the "Certificate of Merit" from the Canadian General Standards Board in recognition of his contributions to the development of Standards and Test Procedures for roofing materials and methods of application. After 20 years, compiling technical information on the field of roofing technology, he published his book in 1992 which encompasses 80 chapters in two volumes, 3,152 pages with over 1,100 photos, figures and tables, and which is entitled: "The Science and Technology of Traditional and Modern Roofing Systems" The American Biographical Institute (ABI) awarded Dr. Laaly the "World Lifetime Achievement Award" for "Outstanding Contributions to the Roofing Materials Technology" in recognition of his book in 1992.
